The 2025 Vermont State Cross Country Championship at Thetford brought a stellar performance from South Burlington's Wolfpack, who finished 7th in Division I and 9th overall on a beautiful fall day. The JV team also turned in a strong showing, finishing 5th out of 15 teams. The team made a determined push toward New Englands qualification, showing remarkable improvement and grit across the board. Many athletes set personal bests compared to both the October 4 Woods Trail Run and last year's State Championship, including standout improvements from runners such as Jack Donovan, Joe Jackson, and Asher Clifford. Several athletes also earned places on the South Burlington course record list, highlighted by James Channon, Jack Henry, and Odin Cloutier. The scoring Varsity seven were rounded out by Dan Jackson, Orion Cooper, and Max Frostman.
